Tripping Over Blue

Morning yawns before me
whispering blue
whispering blue

The same hungry bird circles

And there I go again
tripping over blue
tripping over blue

Just gorgeous. And moving for me on a private, in-joke level.

I loved your paintings from the previous post. My immediate impression was: bold and uncompromising. And you know how I feel about that :)

You have a way of using big words where there should be big words, and brevity where brevity is called for. Just like your painting, every sketch, every vignette knows exactly what it wants to be and just bees it.

I read your poem three times and it becomes more profound the more you read it. Nice job.

I see a face in the clouds. I hear my heart in your words.
Love and blessings, Leah, always, dear friend!

Thanks Chris! You know I can't help but be bold and badass. I tend to jump out there with guns blazing and then shake with terror. LOL!

Thank you Stephen. It's amazing how a few words can say so much.

Martha, my nephew said he sees a face in the clouds too. I see it now...it has a sort of ghostly aura about it. I love clouds and you Ms. Martha <3
